Deoband Unani Medical College Hospital & Research Centre is an esteemed institution established in 1991 under the visionary leadership of Prof. Dr. Qumruzzama. The institution was founded under the auspices of the Muslim Educational and Social Welfare Association (Regd.), registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860.
Over the last 34 years, DUMC has grown into one of North India's premier centers for Unani medical education. The sprawling campus encompasses modern academic blocks, smart lecture halls, advanced anatomical dissection halls, physiology labs, raw drug museums, and an attached 150-bed charitable multi-specialty hospital.
The college holds official recognition from the Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM) / National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM), the Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India, and is permanently affiliated with Mahayogi Guru Gorakhnath AYUSH University, Gorakhpur.
