In the modern age, Medical Science has got the key role in human society. It was the only reason why our late founder Dr. Q.Z. Qureshi was interested to establish Deoband Unani Medical College Hospital and Research Centre in Deoband.
He had established this hospital with modern amenities, so that the students could get the best training and clinical experience under the guidance of our highly qualified and experienced teachers. The college operates 14 full-fledged academic and clinical departments in strict accordance with the Minimum Standard Requirements of the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM).

Department of Kulliyat
Kuliyat deals with the unani medicine, history and ethics. This department is well maintained, well equipped and has a museum with a large number of charts, models. It also consists of a number of photos of Hakeems and unani institutions providing the knowledge regarding tibbe unani.
Department of Tashreeh-ul-Badan
Anatomy is the study of structure and relationship between body parts as revealed by dissection. Furthermore, anatomy covers the systems such as the respiratory system, nervous system, gastrointestinal system, urogenital system, cardiovascular system, and reveals the human skeleton, muscles, and joints. Anatomy also includes comparative anatomy, histology, and surface anatomy. This department consists of a well-maintained museum with a lot of bones, models, charts, projectors, and microtome. A maintained and air-cooled dissection hall with cadavers.
Department of Munafe-ul-Aza
Munafe-ul Aza is the science of the mechanical, physical, and biochemical functions of humans, their organs, and the cells of which they are composed. This department is well maintained with equipment and instruments namely BMR Apparatus, Spirometer, Microtome, Kymograph, tonometer, sphygmomanometer and a lot of glassware and chemical reagents for performing the practicals of blood and urine and other physiological tests.
Department of Tahaffuzi-wa-Samaji Tibb
Tahaffuzi wa Samaji Tibb deals with the condition or practice conducive to maintaining health and preventing disease. This department has a museum with a lot of charts and models, demonstrating different methods of prevention of diseases to fight against pollution, sanitation, immunization and nutrition.
Department of Tibbe Qanooni-wa-Ilmus Samoom
Tibbe Qanooni is the study, knowledge or science of law and toxicology—the branch of science concerned with the nature, effect and detection of poisons. This department has a museum with a large number of charts, models regarding hanging, strangulation, drowning, wounds, fingerprints, homicidal, suicidal and accidental death. This museum has different types of poisons and specimens.
Department of Ilmul Advia-wa-Saidla
Ilmul Advia is the branch of medicine concerned with the uses, effects and mode of action of drugs. Ilmul Advia department consists of a vast museum with a lot of specimens of unani advia and preserved specimens of whole plants. There are charts demonstrating mode of action, effects and elimination of drugs. This department has different kinds of instruments regarding the manufacturing of unani drugs for demonstration and a pharmacy with machines and equipments to manufacture different types of unani medicines.
Department of Moalejat
Moalejat is the science of practice of the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases. Moalejat is the field of applied science and the art of healing. It occupies a variety of healthcare practices evolved to maintain and restore health by the prevention and treatment of illness in human beings. This department is well maintained with equipments and instruments like ECG machine, Ultrasound, X-ray etc. and projectors for illustration of diseases.
Department of Ilaj-Bit-Tadbeer
Ilaj Bit Tadbeer is the therapy that uses physical agents, exercise, massage and other modalities. A well established centre of Ilaj Bit Tadbeer is available in which treatment is given to ailing patients with no or least use of drugs. Various regimens practiced are Dalak, Riyazat, Hammam, Hijamat, Fasad, Arsala Aliq, Nutool, Abzan etc. Moreover modern physiotherapy modalities such as traction, TENS, muscle stimulator, ultrasonic massage, waxbath and shortwave diathermy etc. are also available.
Department of Jarahat
Jarahat is the branch of medicine concerned with the treatment of disease, injury and deformity by physical operation or manipulation. The Department of Jarahat has a number of equipments, instruments, charts, models and specimens. This department has well equipped and fully AC Operation Theatres for Minor and Major surgeries.
Department of Amraz-e-Niswan-wa-Atfal
Amraz-e-Niswan is the branch of medicine that deals with the diseases and health of female reproductive system along with the health care of child and neonates. This department is well maintained and well equipped.
Department of Ilmul Qabalat
Department of Ilmul Qabalat is dedicated to maternal and fetal medicine, normal delivery procedures, obstetric emergencies, prenatal screenings, and post-natal care under traditional and modern clinical guidelines.
Department of Ain-Uzn-Anaf-wa-Halaq
Ain, Uzn, Anaf-wa-Halaq is the branch of medicine specializing in anatomy, functions and diseases of Eye and Ear, Nose and Throat. This department is well maintained and well equipped with slit lamp, ophthalmoscope, Auroscope, tonometer and a large number of instruments for the operation.
Department of Amraz-e-Jild-wa-Zohrawiya
Amraz-e-Jild is a medical specialty which focuses on the diagnosis of skin diseases and disorders. This is a unique specialty with both medical and surgical aspects. Amraz-e-Jild department is equipped with all necessary equipments for the care of diseases of the skin, scalp, hair and nails and it also deals with Sexually Transmitted Diseases such as AIDS, Gonorrhea etc.
Department of Ilmul Amraz-wa-Sareeriyat
Department of Ilmul Amraz-wa-Sareeriyat integrates pathological laboratory diagnosis with bedside clinical medicine, covering hematology, biochemistry, microbiology, urine examination (Qarura), and patient physical signs.
